Atanu Das, CHMM, SDSRP Elected as Fellow of the IHMM

This distinction recognizes Mr. Das’s years of service and dedication to advancing the value, importance, and recognition of the hazardous materials management profession, and his drive, ambition, and leadership in promoting the CHMM credential throughout the environmental, safety, and health communities. Atanu is recognized by his peers for his indelible integrity and steadfast focus in the face of challenging decisions.

Atanu is the owner of MSDSWriter, LLC, where he manages a team of consultants responsible for researching, authoring and updating OSHA compliant Safety Data Sheets and their international equivalents, and assisting clients with regulatory compliance issues related to global hazard communication needs.

With over 20 years of experience in Safety and Environmental Management, he has held positions dealing with federal, state and local regulatory requirements. Having worked in both manufacturing and consulting roles, his experience includes Underground Storage Tank Management, Air Permitting, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Hazardous Waste Management, and OSHA worker safety.
